Event planners sourcing events in the Midwest and nationally will meet with suppliers to plan future national association, corporate, specialty, and sports meetings and events. This event in Peoria, Illinois, is the one to kick off your 2023 on the right foot!


Planners will experience the Connect difference with our highly curated reverse-style appointments. You will meet only with the destinations and venues that are good fit for your future meetings, conferences and events. These short meetings will be the building blocks for site selection on your events for the next several years.


Suppliers will immediately recognize the great care Connect takes in matching you with the right planners. Your future prospective partners are highly vetted. Only the top-of-the-line planners are granted access to our shows. The hosted buyers you meet with represent future events that are great events for your destination that will fill hotel rooms, meeting venues and local restaurants, generating a huge economic impact.

  • Your $200 deposit will be refunded to you in full at the conclusion of the show upon completing your Hosted Buyer commitment

Planners whose job responsibilities include site selection, meeting planning, etc. but are unable to participate as a Connect Hosted Buyer now have the opportunity to attend as a Connect Buyer. Details are as follows:

  • Connect Buyers will have access to all of our functions, trade show activations, etc.
  • As a Connect Buyer you will not be required to conduct 1-on-1 appointments with Suppliers and you won’t have access to the appointment portal, Supplier information, etc.
  • You are responsible for securing your own flights and hotels
  • A limited number of small booths are available for Buyers who wish to self-schedule meetings with Suppliers during Trade Show hours

  • Cancellations made within 30 days or more in advance and prior to booking transportation can receive either a 100% refund OR credit transfer to a later event.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days or less and transportation HAS been booked may not receive a deposit refund and must cancel transportation through Connect's Travel Services Manager
  • Cancellations made within 7 days or less prior to the event, with transportation being booked and appointment schedules being submitted, will NOT receive a refund and will incur a cancellation fee of the cost of one (1) hotel room night. Planners must cancel transportation through Connect's Travel Services Manager.
